indicates birth or birth-giving? For example, could one tell, other
than from context, whether <rozhdestvo bogorodicy> means
"Nativity of the Theotokos" or "birth-giving [to Christ] of the
Theotokos"?
Is there a distinction between <zhivot"> and <zhizn'>?
Do they translate different Greek words?
